MUSCLE ENERGY ASSESSMENT
AND TREATMENT
Muscle Energy Technique is a gentle, non-invasive form of Neuromuscular Therapy, wherein optimal function is restored to joints whose normal range have been restricted due to shortening and spasm of the surrounding musculature. Assessment includes range of motion and palpation testing. The methods used to restore normal muscle length and function are active isometric and isotonic contractions. The results are immediate and verifiable through reassessment. Course Credits: 15 hours MTAA / 14 Hours CMT / 7 Hours OMTA
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE AND MOBILIZATION
Myofascial Release is a unique, whole body approach to assessment and treatment which addresses the connective tissue system and its role in chronic pain syndromes, motion restriction and musculoskeletal dysfunction. Assessment includes local and full body lesion patterns. Course Credits: 15 hours MTAA / 14 Hours CMT / 7 Hours OMTA
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE AND MOBILIZATION
Applies the principles of myofascial release techniques to specific tissues, such as interosseous membranes, joint capsules, nerves and vessels. Introduces and incorporates the basic techniques of craniosacral therapy. Prerequisite - Myofascial Release - Level 1 Course Credits: 15 hours MTAA / 14 Hours CMT / 7 Hours OMTA
MANAGEMENT OF COMMON MUSCULOSKELETAL DYSFUNCTIONS

These include Muscle Energy, Positional Release, PMRR, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy and Joint Mobilization. Pre-requisite: Participants must be familiar with a minimum of three of these techniques. Course Credits: 15 hours MTAA and 14 CMT credits / 7 Hours OMTA
